OYtamOL: Week 10

Well, it was bound to happen.

The Week 10 assignment for One Year to a {More} Organized Life challenge is on meal planning.  Ugh....just kill me now.

I've been trying to get a meal planning process together since January.  I cannot seem to find a way that works for me.  If you google it I bet you'll find at least 50 free printables out there...I've tried them all...seriously, I have.

Truth be told I had actually starting making a little progress with meal planning towards the end of February but now I've joined Weight Watchers for the millionth time and need to start making meals that fit with the Points Plus system so the task has gotten even harder.

Sigh....I guess I will try again this week.....what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?

  1. I confess I don't menu plan, not really....It's just the two of us, so I decide each morning what we are eating. I do keep a stocked pantry and freezer, and buy the same fruit and veges each week. Usually we will plan 2 meals or so a week and then wing it the rest of the time. It works for us! Like tonight, DH will stop and pick up 1 Safeway bun of some sort for his hamburger. I am not eating any bread for Lent, so not buying a whole package that we would freeze and then throw out! PS Safeway is right on his way home.

  2. I am having a very hard time dropping the weight after this last pregnancy. According to my OBGYN, it's due to the incredible low estrogen levels this time 'round. So once my little leech (:P) is weaned - and hopefully the estrogen comes back - I'll be hitting the diet thing hard. But it scares me. Dieting is just hard work... not just sticking to it, but planning it all.
